Facility Description

Our facility is an indoor/outdoor boarding kennel with central heat and air conditioning. We have 10 runs which are sized: 4x4 on the inside of the building and 4x16 on the outside of the building. Indoor/outdoor access is provided via a dog door. All 10 runs are constructed on concrete flooring. The facility is serviced by it's own underground septic system. Fencing completely surrounds the facility and provides about an acre of play yard for the dogs when they are exercised outside their runs. We have smoke detectors, security lights, and locks.

Availability

Due to the popularity of our boarding service and our limited space availability, we are now only booking reservations for pets who have boarding with us in the past (current clients) and pets who are graduates of our dog training programs. Check with our second boarding facility in Rome, Georgia, the Georgia Dog Gym for boarding reservations if you have not used Kingston Kennels boarding services in the past. 706-378-2275. Boarding Service All pets, regardless of their size, are housed in the same sized run (4'x20'). We ask that you furnish your pet's own food, treats, chews, toys, bedding, and anything else that might help your pet feel more comfortable during the boarding stay. Included in the boarding fee is off-lead exercise time twice per day in our fenced kennel yard, two feeding times per day, any dispensing of medications, and socialization in our doggie play groups (If the dog is appropriate for play groups).

Boarding Requirements
	You will need to provide a copy of your pet(s) most recent vaccinations. We ask that you consult with your own veterinarian for recommendations on what your dog needs in order to be protected while he is away from home.

Play Groups

Our facility is best known for offering play groups to our boarders. Our play groups are offered twice per day in the morning and in the evening. They are always supervised by a qualified professional adult. The size of playgroups varies from 2 to 10 dogs depending on their group dynamics. Cyndy Douan, MHDL evaluates each dog individually to determine their suitability for playgroups, and to match them with a playgroup the best suits their personality characteristics and energy level. Owners permission is always required before a dog is allowed to participate. Senior dogs, Intact dogs (dogs not spayed or neutered), and Aggressive dogs are not allowed in play groups.

Drop Off & Pick Up

Kingston Kennels LLC operates drop off and pick up of pets by appointment only. We try to offer appointments for this 7 days per week as we realize that clients prefer to limit their pet(s) boarding to only the minimum stay that is necessary. While we make a concerted effort to be flexible with your scheduling needs, we may not always be capable of setting appointments when you need an appointment. All weekend appointments must be set before the weekend begins. We generally do not set appointments before 11am or after 6pm on Saturdays and Sundays. Since we could be running classes, seminars, play groups, or training dogs throughout the day, it is imperative that you show up on time for your appointment. Important breakthroughs in training dogs can be totally lost in the distractions of a person driving into the facility early for their appointment. We may be away from the facility running errands, attending meetings, or competing in dog events. We may even be home, but sharing some personal time with our family. While we average working 70 to 80 hours per week, we must set an organized schedule in order to give all of our clients the quality service that they expect and the down time that we need so that we can keep the facility running. We ask that you offer the courtesy of respect that our business is located at our home and on our private property. If the nature of your work or family life routines precludes your setting and keeping timely pre-confirmed appointments, our services may not fit for your lifestyle.

Cancellation Policy
	There are no refunds for cancellations of boarding reservations.

Payment
	We accept payment for boarding stays when you book your boarding reservation. We accept cash, personal checks, Visa, MasterCard, and Discover. There are no refunds on cancelled reservations.
